You may have seen recent news stories about neonatal transport services and have questions or concerns about your baby’s care.

Please be reassured that babies who need specialist care are continuing to be transferred safely across the region. Hospital teams and the neonatal transport service are working closely together to make sure babies receive the care they need.

There may sometimes be short delays while transport is arranged, but your baby will continue to receive care from the hospital team during this time.

If you are worried or would like more information, please speak to the doctors or nurses caring for your baby. They are there to support you and answer any questions.
