Neonatal Services Network Champion Role
Network Champions play a key role in connecting the SW Neonatal Network with local neonatal, transitional care and transport teams. They share updates, promote staff development, support families by signposting resources, and highlight local initiatives for wider regional learning.
These roles are voluntary and designed to be flexible — they won’t take up too much of your time, but their impact will be significant.
Role responsibilities may include:
Attend Network Champion Meetings every 2 months
Engage with the Network Champion Group
Promote Staff Education and Training
Support Families by Sharing Resources
Highlight Local Successes
Engage in Online Collaboration
Contribute to SWNN’s Digital Presence
Undertake simple admin - inclusive of forwarding emails, printing posters and sharing social media posts

Network Champions have been in post since January 2026, and we welcome additional staff from across the region to join us as a Network Champion.
