Neonatal Resuscitation Training
The Network is pleased to be covering all course fees for the following courses throughout 2026 and 2027:
GIC: Generic Instructor Course (for Neonatal Life Support)
OHNLS: Out of Hospital Neonatal Life Support
ARNI: Advanced Resuscitation of the Newborn Infant
In addition, a bursary is available to support release of staff to:
attend resuscitation training,
teach on resuscitation courses, and
develop as resuscitation educators.

Below is a collated list of courses that the ODN has been made aware of. These are RCUK courses run by accredited providers. The Network is covering all course fees but is not delivering the courses.
Course places must be booked and confirmed directly with course providers.

This initiative is funded collaboratively by the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly (CIOS), Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bath Swindon & Wiltshire (BSW), and Bristol North Somerset South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) using national NHSE funding, and is available to staff working within these ICB geographies
