Process for arranging placements at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (Derriford Hospital)
1 - Agree duration and possible dates of placement with your employing manager before you book your placement weeks on the Eventbrite system
2 - Check placement availability on the Eventbrite placement booking page and reserve your placement weeks for your agreed dates at the correct hospital (see previous page). Click here to book your placement.
3- Commence the honorary contract application process immediately as this will take time to process and this must be in place prior to your starting the placement.
To initiate this process:

and e-mail them to the UHPNT ward manager (Rose Notley: r.notley@nhs.net) & educator (Ashleigh Webb: Ashleigh.webb1@nhs.net)
4 – Maintain regular contact with the UHPNT ward manager/education team to keep track of your application to ensure your contract is processed in time for the start of your placement.
5 - Contact the education team within the placement unit in plenty of time to ensure that you receive all preparatory information and off duty in advance of your placement starting.
