‘Practical Skills for Infant and Family-Centred Developmental Care’

Bursary Opportunity

FINE 2 Practical Skills follows the FINE 1 Foundation Course and bridges the gap between theory and practice in infant and family-centred developmental care.  It is designed for neonatal professionals in or moving into leadership roles, with applicants needing 6 months consolidation after FINE 1 and meeting selection criteria

  • Online meetings and neonatal unit based course work

  • 6 month course start dates March, June and September 2026

  • 10 places available, allocated on a bursary basis following a successful expression of interest application

Drop-in information sessions led by FINE faculty will be held to help interested candidates learn more about the course and level of commitment required by them:

17th December 2026 - 11-12pm

18th December 2026 - 1-2pm

The six-month, practice-based curriculum includes structured observations, site assessments, reflective writing and online tutorials across 10 topics. Through observation, analysis and reflective practice, the course strengthens clinical skills, collaboration and resilience.
