There are a number of car parks for patients and visitors on the Derriford Hospital site. Parking charges apply 24 hours a day.

Discounts are available for a week or longer:
- £24 for a 5 day ticket (2 days free parking)
- £32 for a 7 day ticket (3 days free parking)
- £96 for 1 month ticket (7 days free parking)
All concessionary tickets can be shared between different vehicles.

Cash point: Barclays Bank cash machine, just outside the Trust’s main entrance. Cash withdrawals from this machine are free. A second cash machine is located outside the Goodness at Greens Restaurant on level 7.
Post Box: The post box is in the main entrance, by the door. Collections are at 5pm Monday to Friday and at 11.30am on Saturday.
Freephone for taxi service: Freephones are available at a number of the hospital’s entrances for the general public to ring Taxifirst who provide a 24hr on demand taxi service to the hospital.
Public Toilets: The hospital’s main concourse toilets have recently been refurbished, and include a Changing Places facility.
Free WiFi: Free wireless internet services are available for patients, visitors and guests at Derriford Hospital.
Wheelchairs: There are wheelchairs in the main entrance. A pound coin is needed to use a wheelchair - this is refunded when the chair is returned.
Lloyds Pharmacy: The Lloyds pharmacy service at Derriford Hospital offers an outpatient dispensing service for hospital prescriptions only, as well as retail offerings including over the counter medicines and toiletry products. The opening times are Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 18.00.
Goodness at Greens: This is the hospital’s main restaurant and is located on level 7. The Restaurant caters for visitors, patients and staff and is open from 7am to 5pm every day. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and early supper with hot and cold options throughout the day.
Warrens Café: This café is open 7am to 4pm (8am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday) and serves a range of hot and cold meal and snack options. Level 3 Terence Lewis Building
Vending Services: There are a wide selection of vending machines located across the hospital serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. The vending machines at Maternity, Emergency Department and Oncology also serve a range of sandwiches.
Shops On Site
M&S Simply Food: Located at the main entrance and open every day from 6.45am until 9pm Monday to Friday and Weekends from 7.00am until 8.30pm. The shop sells a range of sandwiches, baguettes and salads as well as ready meals and grocery items.
WH Smith Shop: The shop has a wide selection of magazines, books, newspapers, snacks and useful items. It also sells sandwiches, salads and a range of cold drinks. Opening times: Monday to Friday 06.00-21.00 / Saturday and Sunday 08.00-19.00
League of Friends Fruit and Gift Shop: This well stocked shop provides fruit, dried fruit and nuts, water, a variety of small gifts and other useful items. All profit from the shop is donated to the League’s Charitable Funds and used to purchase hospital equipment and improve patient care. Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 - 18.30 / Saturday 10.00 - 17.00 / Sunday 12.00 - 16.00

Pastoral and Spiritual Care: The department includes nearly 100 people from many walks of life who share a passion for supporting patients, families and the staff who care for them.

Interpreters: are in place for supporting both face-to-face and telephone-based interpretation and the translation of written information.
