Nearest Car Park
St Michael’s Hospital has 4 accessible car parks within the grounds.
When planning your journey, please be aware that it may be necessary to park off-site or arrange for someone to drop you off at the entrance and park elsewhere. If you do come by car, please leave yourself extra time in case you need to search for a space.

£3.40 for 2 hrs increasing to £15 for 12 hrs.

Outside main hospital on St Michael’s Hill for the free bus available to City Centre and Temple Meads Railway Station.
Bristol Bus Station 15 min walk. Numerous bus routes serve the city centre.
First Bus No’s 8, 9, 16, and 19 all run and stop approx. 5 min walk from the hospital.
Bristol Bus Station (approx. 20 min walk or via free bus – Eye Hospital Stop) for National Express Coaches and other buses.
MegaBus services also run from City Centre and TM station.

Spiritual and Pastoral Care Team are here to assist in the spiritual, religious and pastoral care of patients, relatives and staff We offer a point of contact for all spiritual and religious needs. For those requests we cannot deliver ourselves, we can contact representatives of faith communities in Bristol to meet a particular need. Sanctuary quiet space available 24 hrs a day - Level C, near the pharmacy.

Parent and Family Liaison Services
Patient Support and Complaints Team, an integrated PALS and complaints service, is an easy to access service that provides you, your relatives or carers with personal support and help if you have any concerns about your care in our hospitals or if you wish to make a complaint. 0117 3421050 / psct@ uhbristol. nhs.uk
On the NICU unit there is a Family support Sister available ( part time)
Family Support worker from The Grand Appeal available ( Mon-Fri)
Psychology support available on request to families ( Mon-Fri)

Interpreting Services
Interpreters can be arranged if English is not your first language and you would like help from an interpreter to understand what doctors, nurses or other staff are telling you about your health. We can also obtain sign language interpreters and will make every effort to support patients with other communication needs. Please ask your nurse about how to access this support. There is no charge for this service.
