I joined the NHS for the first time in 2018 after working in the legal sector for over 15 years, first as a legal secretary and then as an office manager. I have an interest in neonates as I had a short stay on Leeds Royal Infirmary neonatal unit in the 1980s when I was born with an infection so I feel privileged to be part of the NHS, which has such important life changing impact.

I see administration as being a chance to help other people be better at their jobs, something which when done well, can have huge impact not only on the individual but also the wider organisation.

When I’m not organising other people I love doing pilates and yoga, watching movies, game-nights with friends, falling off surfboards and whenever possible chasing my children around a beach.
